Race Overview
The Circuit de Monaco is a 3.337-kilometer (2.074-mile) street circuit that is characterised by its narrow streets and tight corners. It is one of the most challenging tracks in Formula 1®, and is often referred to as the “jewel in the crown” of the F1® calendar. Stirling Moss, Ayrton Senna, and Michael Schumacher are among the many drivers who have won the Monaco Grand Prix. Michael Schumacher has won the race a record seven times, more than any other driver. Other drivers who have won the Monaco Grand Prix include Lewis Hamilton, Alain Prost, and Jackie Stewart.

The 2026 Monaco Grand Prix was won by Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes. Lewis Hamilton finished second, while Isaac Hadjar finished third.

Circuit de Monaco
In 1929, the Principality of Monaco first witnessed the powerful sound of racing engines, thanks to the initiative of Antony Noghes, a cigarette manufacturer who organised the event with associates from the Automobile Club de Monaco. This race was included in the inaugural 1950 FIA Formula One World Championship™ calendar and has remained a consistent feature since 1955.
