Race History
The Belgium Grand Prix is a Formula 1® motor race held annually at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Stavelot, Belgium. The race is one of the oldest and most prestigious in Formula 1®, having been first held in 1925. It is also one of the longest races on the calendar, at 7.004 kilometers.
The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is a challenging and varied track, with a mix of fast straights and slow corners. The most famous section of the track is the Eau Rouge/Raidillon complex, which consists of a steep uphill right-hander followed by a sharp left-hander. This section of the track is considered to be one of the most challenging in Formula 1®.
The Belgian Grand Prix has been won by some of the greatest drivers in Formula 1® history, including Michael Schumacher, Ayrton Senna, and Lewis Hamilton. The current record holder for most wins at the Belgian Grand Prix is Michael Schumacher, with six victories.
