Who Won The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix 2025

Emilia Romagna GRAND PRIX RECAP 2025 HOSPITALITY TICKETS

Unstoppable Verstappen wins captivating Emilia Romagna Grand Prix over Norris and Piastri.

Snatching the lead off the line, the Dutchman controlled the eventful Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, keeping the McLaren drivers behind despite VSC and Safety Car interruptions.

Verstappen makes his move early at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix

Verstappen’s Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix victory began with a thrilling launch from second on the grid, as he executed a stunning overtake on polesitter Piastri through the Tamburello chicane. The World Champion quickly established a commanding lead in the laps that followed. Piastri, among others, opted for an early pit stop for hard tyres on Lap 14, a strategy that didn’t yield the anticipated advantage, allowing Verstappen to further extend his lead.

The strategic landscape shifted on Lap 29 with a Virtual Safety Car caused by Ocon’s stranded Haas. This allowed drivers yet to pit, crucially including Verstappen, to make their stops with minimal time loss, the Dutchman rejoining with a significant 20-second lead over Norris. However, further drama unfolded on Lap 46 when Antonelli’s ailing Mercedes triggered a full Safety Car. This prompted another round of pit stops for Verstappen and Norris, while Piastri remained on track, raising strategic questions for McLaren.

The restart saw Verstappen flawlessly maintain his lead, ultimately securing his fourth consecutive Imola victory on Red Bull’s 400th Grand Prix start. Norris, six seconds behind, overtook Piastri for second place, while the Australian managed to hold off Hamilton for fourth after Ferrari’s recovery drive. Albon continued Williams’ strong form in fifth, prevailing in a late battle with Leclerc (sixth). Russell was the sole Mercedes finisher in seventh, with Sainz adding to Williams’ points in eighth. Rookie Hadjar impressed in ninth for Racing Bulls, and Tsunoda claimed the final point in tenth. Alonso finished outside the points in eleventh, followed by Hulkenberg and Gasly. Colapinto finished his debut race in sixteenth, with Bearman and Bortoleto rounding out the classified finishers, and Ocon and Antonelli the retirements.

Next Formula 1 Grand Prix: Monaco

The Formula 1 circus next descends upon the glamorous streets of Monte Carlo for the iconic Monaco Grand Prix, scheduled to take place from May 23rd to May 25th, 2025. This legendary race, a jewel in the crown of the Formula 1 calendar, presents a unique challenge to drivers with its tight, twisty circuit that demands pinpoint precision and bravery. Overtaking is notoriously difficult on this narrow track, making qualifying exceptionally crucial and often setting the stage for the race outcome. The atmosphere in Monaco is always electric, with the blend of high-octane racing and the luxurious backdrop of the French Riviera creating an unparalleled spectacle.

The Monaco Grand Prix boasts a rich and storied history, dating back to 1929, and has been a permanent fixture on the Formula 1 World Championship calendar since 1955, with the exception of its cancellation in 2020. The 3.337-kilometer Circuit de Monaco, with its famous corners like Sainte-Dévote, Casino Square, and the hairpin, has witnessed countless dramatic moments and legendary battles over the decades. Ayrton Senna holds the record for the most wins here with six, earning him the moniker “King of Monaco,” while McLaren leads the constructors with 15 victories. The race is unique in that it doesn’t adhere to the FIA’s minimum race distance regulations due to the slow average speeds and the nature of the circuit.

For the 2025 edition, teams and drivers will need to be at their absolute best to navigate the demanding conditions of the Monaco street circuit. Strategy will play a vital role, particularly with a notable change for 2025 mandating at least two pit stops during the race in an effort to increase the excitement. This could throw a strategic curveball into the typically procession-like nature of the event. Fans can anticipate a weekend filled with intense qualifying sessions as drivers push their cars to the limit, brushing the barriers in pursuit of the perfect lap, followed by a race day where every strategic decision and moment of driver skill will be magnified on the unforgiving streets of Monte Carlo.

Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, who won?

Piastri takes victory at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix ahead of Verstappen!

A commanding victory at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix marked Oscar Piastri’s third win of the season, positioning the Australian as the new leader in the Drivers’ Championship.

Early drama at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

The Jeddah Corniche Circuit witnessed immediate drama as the race began, with pole-sitter Max Verstappen and Piastri, starting second, battling fiercely into the first corner, Verstappen ultimately cutting the apex to take the lead. However, a five-second penalty for this move later relegated the Dutchman behind Piastri after his pit stop. Lando Norris, recovering from a P10 start due to a Saturday qualifying incident, briefly led as the early leaders pitted, having started on hard tyres for a longer first stint. But once Norris pitted for medium tyres, Piastri reclaimed the top spot, steadily building a lead. From that point, the 24-year-old Australian remained unchallenged, crossing the finish line 2.8 seconds ahead of Verstappen’s Red Bull, while Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc secured third place, marking his first podium finish of the season.
