Henley Royal Regatta

The Henley Royal Regatta is an annual rowing event held on the River Thames at Henley-on-Thames. It was established in 1839 and is the most prestigious regatta in the world. The regatta is held over six days in July and attracts over 300,000 spectators each year. The day consists of head-to-head knock out competitions, with races raced over a course of 1 mile 550 yards (2,112 m). There are over 300 events held at the regatta, including men’s, women’s, and mixed events.
