Erik Ten Hag’s second season in charge of United brought more silverware to Old Trafford. Although splitting options the club have extended his contract. The united faithful will be hoping his third year in charge will see them regain their top 4 status. The Red Devils have lost no big players over the transfer window. They will be hoping summer signings Leny Yoro and Zirkzee can make the difference this season. Manchester United will be aiming to challenge for the title this season. Whether that is possible is yet to be seen. If it is to be possible this United team needs to gel fast and play the way Ten Hag wants.
Wolves
Wolverhampton have been a solid Premier League team since clinching promotion from the Championship in 2019. Julen Lopetegui left the club on the eve of the last Premier League season, leaving the club in turmoil. New manager Gary O’Neil steadied the boat and Wolves had a good season. Financial Fair Play rules have seen Wolves not able to spend as they would have liked over the past two seasons. Losing key players Ruben Neves, Raul Jimenez and Nathan Collins. Wolves have brought in Rodrigo Gomes and Pedro Lima in the summer window. That may not be enough this year push on but should keep them in the league.
